Cleaning services
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes — every Express Ultra cleaner arrives fully equipped with professional-grade products, microfiber cloths, vacuums, mops, and any specialty tools needed for your space. You don't need to buy or provide anything.
What types of spaces do you clean?
Apartments, condos, brownstones, single-family homes, townhouses, lofts, Airbnbs, offices, co-working spaces, retail storefronts, and post-construction sites. Each cleaning is tailored to the size, finishes, and traffic of the space.
What's included in a deep cleaning vs. a standard cleaning?
Standard cleaning covers all common surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, and trash. Deep cleaning adds baseboards, doorframes, light fixtures, ceiling fans, inside windows, behind/under furniture you can move, inside appliances on request, vent covers, and detailed grout/tile work. We recommend a deep clean for first-time clients and once or twice a year thereafter.
Do you offer move-in and move-out cleaning?
Yes — our move-in/move-out service is one of our most-requested. We focus on inside cabinets, drawers, appliances, closets, and every corner that gets ignored when furniture is in place. Most clients booking a move-out get their full security deposit back.
Can you handle post-construction or post-renovation cleanup?
Absolutely. Construction dust ends up in places nothing else does — inside cabinet hinges, behind switch plates, in window tracks. Our post-construction crew uses HEPA vacuums and a multi-pass approach so the space is genuinely move-in ready, not just visibly clean.
Are your products safe for kids, pets, and people with allergies?
By default we use eco-friendly, low-VOC, fragrance-free products that are safe around children and pets. If you have specific allergies or product preferences, just tell us and we'll match them — bring-your-own products is also welcome.
Do you do Airbnb / short-term rental turnovers?
Yes, with same-day photo confirmation so you know it's photo-ready before the next guest arrives. We can also handle linen swaps and basic re-stocking when supplies are provided.
Booking & visits
Are you insured and bonded?
If your building has insurance, certificate, or vendor-document requirements, share them with us when you request a quote so we can confirm whether we can meet them.
How do I schedule a cleaning?
Fill out the contact form, call (845) 833-0111, or message us on WhatsApp. We'll text you back within a few hours with a quote and the next available slots. Same-week and same-day appointments are often possible depending on demand.
What languages do your cleaners speak?
Our team speaks English and Spanish. We can usually accommodate Russian, Polish, and Mandarin requests on advance notice.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
Not at all. Most clients give us building access or leave a key with the doorman; many prefer to be out so they can come home to a clean space. We're fully insured and every cleaner is background-checked.
Prices, payment & policies
How much does a cleaning cost?
Regular cleaning starts from $160 for a studio and $175 for a one-bedroom. Deep cleaning starts from $220 and move-in/move-out cleaning from $250. Supplies are included, and we confirm your final price after a free quote based on size, condition, bathrooms and extras. The full price list is on our Pricing page.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free up to 48 hours before your appointment. 24–48 hours before: $40 fee. Under 24 hours, or if we can't get in (lockout / no access): 50% of the booking (minimum $80). Recurring plans have no long-term contract; give 7 days' notice to pause or cancel.
How do I pay?
We accept credit/debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, ACH, and cash. Recurring clients are typically auto-charged after each visit; one-time clients pay on completion or via invoice.
Do you offer recurring (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) cleaning?
Yes — recurring clients get priority scheduling and the same dedicated cleaner whenever possible. Recurring plans save 15% weekly, 10% bi-weekly and 5% monthly off the regular cleaning price, with no long-term contract (7 days' notice to pause or cancel). If your home hasn't been professionally cleaned recently, the first visit is billed at the deep-cleaning rate, or the regular price plus $50. Most NYC apartments do best on a bi-weekly cadence.
What if I'm not satisfied?
If we missed something, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back to re-clean those areas for free. We'd rather make it right than have an unhappy client.
How much does a cleaning cost in Brooklyn?

What affects the price of a cleaning?
The main factors are the size of the home (bedrooms and bathrooms), its current condition and how recently it was professionally cleaned, the type of service, any add-ons such as inside the fridge or oven, pet hair, how often you book, and parking or building access. We confirm everything in your free quote before the visit.

Do you clean multi-floor brownstones and townhouses?
Yes. Tell us the number of floors, bathrooms and whether the garden level or cellar is included so we can plan the time and team size.
My building has no doorman. How do you get in?
You can meet us at the door, use a lockbox or leave a key with a neighbor or super. We will confirm the arrangement before the visit.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
No. We bring our own supplies and equipment. If you prefer fragrance-free products or want us to use your own, let us know.

My building requires a certificate of insurance. What should I do?
Tell us your building's requirements and management contact when you request a quote so we can confirm whether we can meet them.

Regular House & Apartment Cleaning
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. We bring our own supplies and equipment, including vacuums and mops. If you prefer fragrance-free products or want us to use products you already own, let us know.
Will I get the same cleaner each visit?
We aim for consistency on recurring schedules so the person cleaning learns your home and preferences. Ask about this when you book and we will tell you what we can arrange.
Should I start with a deep cleaning?
If your home has not been professionally cleaned recently, yes. A deep cleaning removes built-up grime so regular visits can focus on upkeep. If your place is already in good shape, we can start with regular visits right away.
Can I change or skip a visit?
Yes, schedules can be adjusted. Contact us as early as you can so we can rearrange the calendar, and ask about availability for the new date.
Deep Cleaning
What is the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?
Regular cleaning keeps everyday surfaces clean. Deep cleaning adds detail work such as baseboards, door frames, grout, radiators, cabinet fronts and appliance interiors on request. It takes longer and is usually done a few times a year.
How often should I get a deep cleaning?
Many households book one or two a year, often in spring and fall. If you have regular cleaning, a periodic deep cleaning keeps detail areas from building up.
How long does a deep cleaning take?
It depends on the size and condition of your home and the extras you choose. We confirm the expected time in your quote.
Do you clean inside the oven and fridge?
Yes, on request. Please empty the fridge before we arrive so we can clean shelves and drawers properly.
Can you clean radiators?
Yes. We dust and wipe radiators and radiator covers that are accessible. Radiators can be hot during heating season, so let us know if the heat cannot be turned down in your unit.
Should I book a deep cleaning or a move-out cleaning?
If the apartment will be empty, choose move-in/move-out cleaning, which includes the inside of cabinets, closets and drawers. If you are still living there with your furniture in place, a deep cleaning is the right fit.
Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
When should I schedule a move-out cleaning?
After the movers have taken everything out and before your final walkthrough or key handoff. Cleaning an empty unit is faster and more thorough, and nothing gets tracked back in.
Will this get my security deposit back?
We cannot guarantee a deposit outcome, since that depends on your lease and your landlord. We focus on the kitchen, bathrooms, floors and fixtures that walkthroughs usually check.
Do the utilities need to be on?
Yes. We need running water and electricity, including working lights in rooms without windows. Let us know in advance if anything has been shut off.
Can you clean while some furniture is still there?
Yes, but we cannot clean behind or inside items that remain. Tell us what will be left so we can plan the visit and adjust the quote.
Do you need someone to let you in?
Not necessarily. You can leave keys with the doorman or super, use a lockbox, or meet us at the start. Tell us how the building handles vendor access.
Post-Construction Cleaning
When should I book post-construction cleaning?
After every trade has finished, including painting and touch-ups. If work continues after the cleaning, new dust will settle and some areas will need to be redone.
Do you remove construction debris?
No. We clean dust and residue, but leftover materials, packaging and construction waste should be removed by your contractor before we arrive.
Can you clean inside vents and radiator covers?
We clean vent grilles, accessible duct openings and radiator covers. Full duct cleaning inside the system is a separate specialty service.
Do you clean after renovations in offices and stores?
Yes. We clean small commercial spaces after fit-outs. Let us know the building's rules for after-hours or weekend access.
Upholstery & Sofa Cleaning
How long does a sofa take to dry?
It depends on the fabric, the cleaning method and the airflow in the room. Opening windows or running a fan or AC speeds drying; keep people and pets off until it is fully dry.
Can you remove every stain?
Not always. Many stains lift well, but set-in stains, ink, dye transfer and sun fading may only lighten. We will tell you what to expect before we start.
What do the cleaning codes on my sofa tag mean?
W means water-based cleaning, S means solvent-based only, W/S allows either, and X means vacuum only. We check the code before choosing a method.
Do you clean leather furniture?
Leather needs a different process from fabric upholstery. Ask when you request a quote and tell us the type of leather if you know it.
Do I need to move the sofa?
No. We clean furniture where it sits. Just clear items off it and make sure there is room to walk around it.
Can you clean my sofa at the same time as a home cleaning?
Yes. Upholstery cleaning can be added to a deep, regular or move-in cleaning. Mention it in your quote request so we plan the time.
Office & Small Commercial Cleaning
Can you clean after business hours?
Yes, we schedule around your business hours and your building's vendor rules. Ask about availability for early morning, evening or weekend slots.
Our building requires a certificate of insurance. Can you provide one?
Tell us your building's requirements and property manager contact when you request a quote so we can confirm whether we can meet them.
Do you bring supplies?
Yes. We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment. Restroom paper products and soap refills are usually supplied by the business, and we refill them if you provide them.
How often should our office be cleaned?
It depends on headcount and foot traffic. Small offices often choose weekly or a few times a week; busy storefronts may need more frequent visits.
Do you need someone on site to let you in?
Not if your building allows key, fob or code access for vendors. We will confirm the access arrangement and check-in process before the first visit.
